We do not always have a dress code to mirror our current emotional state. But in all
probability, our personality is reflected to some extent in how we present ourselves to the world - in colors.
Women of this region favor red saris as the ideal choice for their marriages, as well as a traditional red teep on the forehead. It is not mandatory, and of course the teep is not reserved only for weddings. It is also not a dot anymore but a wide variety of shapes, symbols and colors. One can safely assume that people choose colors and designs and dress to make a statement.
The phrase - be cool is often advised these days, to overcome the emotional confusion that sometimes creates disorder in our personal life, and more so when one is in love. Now what is the color of cool? To me it has always been - Black.
